Sportsmetrics™ Licensed and Certified

Who this is for

Female athletes in soccer, basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, and other field and court sports

LaRue is dedicated to helping female athletes not only improve their performance on their chosen field of play, but also to reduce their risk of injury. In 2011, LaRue pursued advanced studies, licensure and certification through Sportsmetrics™.

The Sportsmetrics™ program was created by orthopedic surgeon Dr. Frank R. Noyes in conjunction with a team of physical therapists, athletic trainers and researchers. In 1995 it was published in a peer-reviewed orthopedic publication as the first knee-ligament intervention program for female athletes documented in medical literature. LaRue's dedication to helping female athletes led to his producing a short documentary film, We R Athletes, highlighting the benefits, both on the field of play and in the classroom or boardroom, of safe and effective strength and conditioning training.  His film can be found and viewed in its entirety on our Gallery page.
